The Orient Watch Orient Watch Company Limited, a Japanese watch manufacturer, founded in 1950.
The Orient Watch Company has its origins date back to 1901 and the marketing of its founder clock, Shogoro Yoshida in Tokyo. For many years Orient was number three in the triumvirate Japanese Seiko Watch, Citizen and Orient. However, Casio quickly surpassed East in the early 1970s with hits that were marketed primarily in the United States, but are also very popular in Japan and elsewhere in Asia.
